Terms of service

General terms governing the use of the Faro Jobs service.

1. Service operator

Faro Jobs is operated by Francesco Milani, email: support@farojobs.app.

2. Nature of the service

Faro Jobs is a search and organisation tool: it collects postings published publicly by employers, matches them against the user's CV and preferences, and supports application tracking.

The service is not an employment agency, a staffing agency or an intermediary: it does not receive, store or forward applications, does not present candidates to employers and has no relationship with the employers whose postings appear in the service. Applications are submitted exclusively on the employer's site. The service is no guarantee of results.

3. Third-party content

Postings come from public third-party sources and are shown without verification of accuracy or currency: a posting may be expired, already filled or inaccurate even if shown as open. Reliability flags (reposts, unusual duration) are statistical estimates, not judgments on the employer.

4. Account

The account requires a valid email and is personal; the user is responsible for their credentials and for activity performed from their account. Minimum age: 18. Multiple or automated accounts are not permitted.

5. User content

The CV and uploaded content remain the user's property; the user grants only the licence necessary to operate the service: analysis, matching against postings, generation of requested documents. Content is not published, transferred or used for model training. The user undertakes to upload only their own CV and not to include data unnecessary for professional evaluation (privacy notice, §5).

6. Plans and payments

• Base: monthly or yearly fee; the full service with limits on AI features and tracked applications. No free plan is offered.
• Pro: monthly or yearly fee; per-posting AI features and higher limits.
• Lifetime: one-off payment; permanent access with AI features included.
• Sentinel: reduced-fee maintenance plan; it replaces the active subscription, with recognition of the remaining credit.
• Pass: time-limited Pro access, one-off.

Prices and limits are those shown on the Plan page at the time of purchase.

Payments. Purchase transactions are concluded with Polar Software, Inc., merchant of record, which applies VAT and issues the receipt under its own terms. Payment data does not pass through the service's systems.

Plan changes. When switching to a different plan before expiry, the unused value is credited towards the new purchase, up to its price; the previous plan closes.

Withdrawal. Consumers have 14 days of withdrawal on distance purchases. Requesting immediate activation of the digital service entails loss of the right of withdrawal for the part already performed (art. 59(o), Italian Consumer Code).

Cancellation. Cancellation is possible at any time: the plan remains active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. No pro-rata refunds are provided, except as required by law and except the remaining credit on plan changes.

Suspension for non-payment. Without an active plan, access to the service's features is suspended. Access to the account, data download and account deletion remain available free of charge at all times: GDPR rights do not depend on payment.

7. AI features

CV tailoring, letter generation and interview preparation rely on language models and may produce errors: generated content must be reviewed before sending, for which the user remains responsible. AI features are subject to per-plan limits and an overall daily cap.

8. Acceptable use

The following are not permitted: extraction or resale of the service's data; circumvention of plan limits; multiple accounts to multiply quotas; uploading third-party CVs without title; attempts to access other users' data; harassing or discriminatory uses. Accounts in violation may be suspended, normally with notice, without notice in serious cases.

9. Availability

The service is provided "as is", without guarantee of continuity: it depends on third-party providers and posting sources, which may change or cease without notice.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability is excluded for decisions taken on the basis of the service, for inaccurate or expired postings, and for missed hires. Total liability is in any case limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months. Liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence and the consumer's mandatory rights remain unaffected.

11. Account closure

Account deletion is available at any time under You → Your data → Delete account and is final and immediate. Data download is available from the same screen.

12. Changes

Substantial changes are communicated with reasonable notice; if not accepted, the user may close the account.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law applies. For consumers, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the consumer's residence or domicile, under the Italian Consumer Code.
